About this Photo
The Pleiades aka Seven Sisters (Messier 45) is a star cluster in the constellation Taurus, 444 light years away from Earth. It contains over a thousand stars that are loosely bound by gravity, but it is visually dominated by a handful of its brightest members. At the bottom of this photo, you can barely spot UGC 2838, a galaxy almost 300 million light years away from us.
Prints are sold unframed. For framing enquiries, please contact me directly.
